HOUSTON (CBS-Houston) – Jason Johnson was the starting quarterback at the University of Arizona in 2001 and 2002. However, he never took a snap in the NFL. But, you’d better believe, Johnson knows the position and he knows it well.

Johnson’s company is called Jason Ryan Creative and they worked with ESPN to produce the series Draft Academy. The show provided behind the scenes access to five draft hopefuls including Jadeveon Clowney and Blake Bortles.

Draft Academy aired Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on ESPN. Pro Days for Clowney and Bortles were chronicled and attended by Texans Coach Bill O’Brien.

Johnson also got the opportunity to work up close and personal with the top 2014 NFL Draft picks. He gives us the inside scoop.

In addition, the draft is May 8th. The final discussion centers around what the Houston Texans will do with the first overall pick and just where will Johnny Manziel land in the draft.

We will provide draft coverage from Reliant Stadium on Draft Day. Stay current by following us @BrettDolan24 and @Coloranalyst for Nate Griffin.
