Here at SportsRadio 610 we kept seeing CBS, ESPN, NFL Network, John McClain and many more doing mock drafts and we wanted in. So we gathered 30 of the minds (we’d say brightest, but as you can see from the draft we can’t confirm that with this experiment) to each mock a single pick from the first round of this year’s draft.

A little preface before we show you who everyone picked in the draft, there was one trade. Paul Gallant (B-Straw & Pauly G Show 7p-11p), the GM of the Chargers, traded Phillip Rivers to the Bengals (Nick Wright from In The Loop) for the Bengals first round pick. We’ll let Paul explain after we show you the picks.

Here is Paul Gallant’s explination for his picks at #24 & #25:

“The city of Los Angeles has long desired a football team. And Qualcomm stadium/whatever the hell it’s called ain’t cutting it anymore. So to attract an LA buyer, I traded our only decent player to Cincy. Not enough to drive the Chargers value down? Ok.

With pick 24, the Chargers select Logan Thomas – QB VA Tech – aka the worst qb in this years draft. He’ll be starter until next season when the LA Chargers have pick #1 and take the great Marcus Mariota.

With pick 25, the Chargers select Kirby Van Der Kamp – P Iowa St. That should ruin all interest in the team and drive their value down by a good of $300 M. Hello LA investors and (INSERT FAMOUS RON BURGANDY LINE ABOUT SAN DIEGO)”

So there you have it…the first ever CBS Radio Mock Draft…what a mockery.
