Kuchar Pulls In Front At Shell Houston Open

Matt Kuchar will attempt to win his seventh PGA Tour title on Sunday when he takes a four shot lead into the final round of the Shell Houston at the Golf Club of Houston.

Despite a bogey at 18, Kuchar matched Rickie Fowler for the day’s best round, shooting a four under, 68. He birdied six holes in the round, including 12, 13, and 14.

Sergio Garcia began the day atop the leaderboad, but fell to 11 under par for the tournament after a third round 73. He’ll enter play tomorrow tied for second with Cameron Tringle, who was three under on Saturday.

Fowler is tied for fifth at eight under, seven shots back, and Phil Mickelson is nine back after shooting even par.
