HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – For the lone match-up of the season the Houston Dynamo and Dallas FC will battle for ownership of El Capitan, the howitzer cannon awarded to the winner of the Texas Derby between the two teams.

El Capitan is currently being held by FC Dallas who took back the ownership of the cannon last year in a 3-2 victory at Toyota Stadium in Frisco.

The Dynamo are coming off their first loss of the season, a 2-1 defeat to the Vancouver Whitecaps last weekend. FC Dallas is still undefeated on the season at 3-0-1.

The Dynamo will have Brad Davis back from a stint with the US National team where he started on Wednesday for the USMNT against Mexico in a 2-2 draw.

It will be a packed house at BBVA Compass Stadium on Saturday with the 7pm kickoff. This will only be the second match-up at BBVA Compass Stadium between the two teams. The Dynamo won the last encounter in June 2012 2-1.
