HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans have added another former Kansas City Chief defensive player to their roster via free agency.

Kendrick Lewis tweeted out that he has signed with the Texans for the 2014 season.

Details of the deal have not yet been released.

Lewis played four years for the Chiefs recording a total of 172 tackles and seven interceptions. Lewis played for two years under now Texans Defensive Coordinator Romeo Crennel.
