Houston (CBS Houston) – Free agent quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Texans have agreed on a 2-year deal, according to multiple reports.
Fitzpatrick, 31, started nine games for the Titans last year and completed 62 percent of his passes. He also threw for 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
He was a seventh round selection out of Harvard in 2005. In his first career NFL game, he led the Rams to a 33-27 overtime win against the Texans.
