One of the team’s biggest offseason additions veteran right-hander Scott Feldman has been named the Opening day starter against the Yankees April 1st. Feldman signed a free agent deal in the offseason after splitting the year between the Cubs and the Orioles, finishing with a 12 and 12 record and a 3.86 ERA between the two stops.

This will be the second different opening day starter during the Bo Porter era Astros, last season the team used Bud Norris as the opening day starter.

There is still no word yet how the rest of the starters will shake out behind Feldman. Still to be determined during the rest of Spring Training.
