UFC Fighter Arrested On Attempted Murder

UFC veteran Thiago Silva on Thursday night was arrested for 2 counts of attempted murder. Silva per reports threatened his wife with a gun and threatened to shoot people inside the gym his wife was training at. After leaving the gym Silva was found at his home where a 4 hour stand off with S.W.A.T ensued, where he ultimately surrendered without incident.

Silva remains in jail on Friday morning but the counts of attempted murder have been dropped to aggravated assault. Per TMZsports Dana White was quoted as saying Silva will never fight in the UFC again. Silva was scheduled to fight on the organizations card in Dallas, Texas on March 15 against Ovince St. Preux. Silva has been pulled from the card and no other update has been given.
