The 7 to day 10 watch for injured center Omer Asik seems to be coming to an end. During Friday’s practice before the team heads out to Milwaukee to face the Bucks on Saturday. Head Coach Kevin McHale mentioned that Asik barring any setbacks could see time during the game with the Bucks.

“This is the most he’s done” McHale said about Asik practicing but in the same breath also told the media “if he can come through tonight and tomorrow’s shootaround, I think he’ll play”. Of course the concern is Asik knee and if it swells up but if everything is ok, Asik is primed for a return.
