Houston (CBS Houston) - Wade Phillips remains unemployed after being let go by the Houston Texans. Despite a long and successful career on the defensive side of the ball, Phillips didn’t even receive an interview this off-season.

“I’m not through yet. I’m still looking for a job,” Phillips said on In The Loop with Nick Wright and John Lopez. “There may be a consulting position that I can help with the defense somewhere or even a position coach.”

At this point in his career, Phillips made one thing clear. He’s not ready to give up coaching. When asked about retirement, he joked that his wife had seen enough of him since he left the Texans.
