CHICAGO (AP) — Sky Blue midfielder Brittany Bock has been taken by the Houston Dash with the first pick in the National Women’s Soccer League’s expansion draft.

Houston also selected Washington forward Tiffany McCarty, Kansas City defender Lauren Sesselmann, Portland midfielder Meleana Shim, Chicago forward Ella Masar, Boston defender Meghan Klingenberg, Seattle defender Arianna Romero, Portland midfielder Becky Edwards, Sky Blue forward Danesha Adams and Washington defender Gabriella Toulouse.

After selecting 10 players Tuesday, the Dash will add more in the college draft on Jan. 17 in Philadelphia, where there are 36 selections over four rounds. Houston has the second pick in the first round and the top pick in the remaining rounds.
