Mike Vrabel To Join Texans Coaching Staff

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – Former New England Patriot Mike Vrabel announced today, via his twitter account, that he will be joining the Houston Texans as the linebacker coach. Vrabel will leave his position with Ohio State University to work with former Patriots coach and now Texans Head Coach Bill O’Brien.

Vrabel played 14 years in the NFL and won three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.

Mike Vrabel is the first coach to announce he will join Bill O’Brien in Houston. The Texans and O’Brien released 16 assistant coaches on Tuesday.
