Houston (CBS Houston)– The Houston Rockets have five players on the 2014 NBA All-Star ballot and could have three players make it to the NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans.

The Western Conference is led by Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Newly acquired center Dwight Howard, Jeremy Lin, James Harden, Chandler Parsons and disgruntled Omer Asik represent the Rockets on the ballot.

The 63rd NBA All-Star Game will be played at New Orleans Arena on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014.
