Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – Gary Kubiak will continue to be the coach of the Houston Texans for at least the next few weeks.  After the Texans lost 13-6 to a 1-9 (now 2-9) Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday, many thought that it would be the end for Kubiak at the helm of the Texans.

John McClain, who did some speculating after the game Sunday, confirmed Monday that Kubiak would remain in the head coaches job for the time being.

The Texans are on a current, franchise record, nine game losing streak and getting ready for the New England Patriots (8-3) coming off a big win over the Denver Broncos.
