  1. Andrew Luck – funny because he’s having a radically different season than last year, in terms of his strengths and weaknesses. He’s actually been better on 1st down than 3rd down, and better early in games, without getting a lot done in the 4th quarter. But he’s limited mistakes (only 3 INT all season) and extends plays extremely well

  2. Robert Mathis – the Texans offensive line has been disappointing at best so far this season, and Mathis has been brilliant. 11.5 sacks so far this season. He’s had at least 1 sack in all but one game, and 4 games with 2+ sacks. He partially wrecked the Broncos game with the strip-sack of Peyton Manning right near the end zone. Duane Brown better bring his A game

  3. Texans performing in big spots on national TV – not a lot to feel really happy about here, and this is starting to become one of my biggest issues with Gary Kubiak as a head coach.
