Woman Assaulted After Being Abducted While Jogging

HOUSTON (AP) — Authorities are searching for two men who abducted and sexually assaulted a woman jogging in southwest Houston.

Fort Bend County investigators say the woman was running early Monday morning when a vehicle pulled alongside. A man in the back seat forced her into the vehicle at gunpoint. She was taken to her home where she was robbed. The men afterward drove her to another location and released her.

The woman provided a description of one of the suspects while the other covered his face. Investigators say the driver is heavy set with a goatee and glasses, while the other man is thin and was wearing a hoodie.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the apprehension of the men.
