The UFC this Wednesday will head to Brazil where the main and co-main event will feature 4 top 15 welterweights. Damian Maia will take on Jake Shields in the main event and Erick Silva will take on Dong Hyun Kim in the co-main event. The entire card, main card and prelims will take place live and free on Fox Sports 1. With 10 fights on the card, only 1 fighter missed weight. Light Heavyweight Thiago Silva came in at 208, 2 pounds over the limit, the fight is still on but Silva will forfeit 25 percent of his earnings to Matt Hamill, win, lose or draw. Out of all 10 fights which are the 3 fights that you should not miss?

1. Light Heavyweight: Fabio Maldonado vs. Joey Beltran
This is the most anticipated fight in my mind, both these guys will throw with reckless abandon. Maldonado is a former undefeated boxer and in his MMA career has never been knocked out. Beltran a former heavyweight is a guy who doesn’t know what a ground game is and only knows how to throw punches, this should be a VERY entertaining 3 round fight.

2. Welterweight: Rousimar Palhares vs. Mike Pierce
Pierce is on 1 of the bigger Welterweight rolls in the UFC outside of Matt Brown and Johny Hendricks he marries his wrestling with explosive KO power. Palhares is dropping down from Middleweight and is the best leg submission in the UFC, Palhares is the loser of 2 straight and is on the verge of being in a dicey situation if he losses.

3. Bantamweight: Raphael Assuncao vs. T.J. Dillashaw
Both these guys are on the cusp of a title shot both are explosive and exciting fighters and both are on big win streaks in the division. Assuncao since dropping down from Featherweight has looked scary winning 4 straight with 2 finishes. Dillashaw has 1 loss in his career a TKO from John Dodson (former flyweight title contender) since his loss 4 straight wins with 3 finishes.

Main card: Fox Sports 1

Welterweight: Demian Maia (18-4) vs. Jake Shields (28-6-1-1NC)
Welterweight: Erick Silva (15-3-1NC) vs. Dong Hyun Kim (17-2-1-1NC)
Light Heavyweight: Thiago Silva (15-3-2NC) vs. Matt Hamill (11-4)
Light Heavyweight: Fabio Maldonado (19-6) vs. Joey Beltran (14-8-1NC)
Welterweight: Rousimar Palhares (14-5) vs. Mike Pierce (17-5)
Bantamweight: Raphael Assuncao (20-4) vs. T.J. Dillashaw (8-1)
