Houston (CBS Houston) – The Texans are awaiting clarification from the NFL on Kareem Jackson’s critical overtime penalty. On 2nd and 12 from the Seattle 42, Kareem Jackson’s tackle of Doug Baldwin drew a flag for unnecessary roughness.

“I don’t know what the flag was for,” Kareem Jackson said after the game. “If I don’t tackle him, he scores. I mean, it’s plain and simple.”

The Seahawks went on to score the game winning field goal on the same drive. The Texans didn’t agree with the call prompting them to ask for an explenation from the NFL.

“I don’t agree with it, you know, I understand the rule about picking somebody up and putting them on their head. I understand that, I didn’t see the play that way.” Gary Kubiak said Monday. “Obviously the league has got the call on that so we will see what they come back and say to us.”
