Texans head coach Gary Kubiak addressed the team’s injury situation during his post practice press conference Friday.

Left Tackle Duane Brown is still battling a turf toe injury, and did not practice Friday.  He will be a game time decision for Week 4 Sunday against Seattle.  Ryan Harris would get his second straight start if Brown is unavailable.

“I think he battled,” Kubiak said of Harris.  “If Duane can’t go, he’s the guy.”

Brown initially suffered the injury Week 2 versus the Titans.  With Brown out of the lineup, quarterback Matt Schaub was sacked 3 times and hit 7 more in the Texans Week 3 loss to the Ravens in Baltimore, in what was easily his and the offense’s worst performance of the season.

The Seahawks enter this week’s contest with the NFL’s top-rated defense, allowing a league low 242 yards per game and surrendering a league low 27 total points through 3 weeks.  Seattle’s 10 takeaways is second best in the league.
