Baltimore (CBS HOUSTON) – Ed Reed is coming home and starting in Baltimore. The Houston Texans safety who spent the first 11 years of his career in Baltimore will start for the Texans against his former team Sunday.
Reed has been a game-time decision the first two weeks of the season, but didn’t get the decision to go in either of the Texans wins. But for week three against his former team Reed will be on the field when the Texans defense takes the field.
It is not known how much Reed will stay on the field during the game, but expect Shiloh Keo to see some time as well while Reed gets his game stamina back. Reed has not seen any game time since the he won the Super Bowl with the Ravens last year.
The pro-bowler had off-season hip surgery that caused him to miss all Texans action since signing in the off-season.
