Houston (CBS Houston) - Editor’s Note: Each week the Texans’ opponent will hold a conference call with the Houston media. Here are the notes from that call.

This week, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and quarterback Joe Flacco were made available. Here’s what they had to say:

>>>Joe Flacco and John Harbaugh both think Ed Reed will play this Sunday. Flacco was asked if he would be surprised if Reed didn’t play.

“I’m hearing (Reed) is going to play, so ya, I guess so.” Flacco said on his weekly conference call with opposing team media.

>>>Ray Rice will most likely be a game time decision.

“There’s a chance he could practice but I’m probably going to be the guy that says that he doesn’t need to practice. It would probably be the prerogative of the head coach and then we will just see how he feels going into the game.” said John Harbaugh.

>>>The combination of Ray Lewis’s jersey retirement and Ed Reed’s return will make for an emotional Sunday.

“If you get to know Ed, you become friends with Ed, you share a connection on kinda a deep level and there’s an opportunity to talk about a lot of things that transcend football or just the smaller things in life. I really treasure that part of our relationship.” said Harbaugh.

>>>J.J Watt’s ability to affect passing lanes will be a big concern for Harbaugh and the Ravens offense.

“You really can’t believe it until you see it. I don’t think we really had a great understanding of it last year until we experienced it, what a force he is. I can tell they really do a great job coaching the rushers and it’s the whole defense not just the d-lineman, but they all, when they get blocked get their hands up.” Harbaugh said.
