Houston (CBS Houston) – It’s going to be a busy weekend in Baltimore. Playing or not, Ed Reed will return to face his former team and the Ravens will be retiring Ray Lewis’s jersey. The Texans are well aware of the pageantry that will surround Sunday’s game.

“A lot of emotion is going to be riding on this game.” Danieal Manning told Sports Radio 610 at an anti-bullying event at Pine Shadows Elementary. “It’s going to be a great game. I think we are going to definitely have a great week of practice, I can just feel it (in) the way guys are showing up today at work.”

Whether Ed Reed will play or not is still unknown. If he does, Manning knows how tough it can be to take on your former team. As a member of the Texans, Manning returned to Chicago to face his former team, the Bears.

“I told him I said Ed, you been playing a lot longer than me, and he laughed, but I have the advantage (over you) of playing against my former team. The advice I could tell you is don’t take it personal man, it’s all business.”

According to Manning, Reed told him he could handle the situation but Manning wasn’t convinced.

“I’m telling you I said the same thing. When I got there, we were parking on the opposite end, on the visitors side (and I was like) man this is crazy, but eventually you will kick it in and it will be business.”
