WEST MONROE, La. (CBS Houston) — The daughter of one of the “Duck Dynasty” stars unveiled her line of “daddy-approved” prom dresses during New York Fashion Week.

Sadie Robertson, daughter of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson, teamed up with fashion designer Sherri Hill to create an original collection of prom dresses dubbed “Sadie Robertson Live Original” that will be available next spring.

“We made a daddy-approved dress line,” Sadie Robertson told Fox News.

The 16-year-old rocked the dresses on the runway Monday night during the “Evening By Sherri Hill” fashion show.

“It’s got to be long enough … the finger-tip rule,” she told Us Weekly, adding of the necklines, “Everything modest up here.”

Mother Kori Robertson was ecstatic over seeing her daughter on the runway.

“We’re so proud and so happy about the partnership with Sherri Hill,” she told Us Weekly. “She’s been awesome. And they’re a family business like we are, so we feel really great.”

The Robertson family runs the Duck Commander business in West Monroe, La. Their reality show “Duck Dynasty” has been a smash hit, with its Season 4 premiere setting a record as the most-watched nonfiction show in cable television history with 11.8 million viewers.
