Houston (CBS Houston) – The Houston Astros released their 2014 schedule, Tuesday afternoon.

There are some notable dates and match-ups beginning with their Opening Day match-up at Minute Maid Park on Tuesday, April 1 as the Astros host the New York Yankees.

Not only do the Astros open at home but after their three game series with the Yankees they host four more games against the AL West-rival Angels.

Houston’s first road trip heads up north to Toronto to take on the Blue Jays, April 8-10.

The Astros will host the Texas Rangers three times, for 10 games next season, with the first match-up being a three-game set from May 12-14 and they’ll return August 8-10 and August 28-31.

Houston will close their 2014 season with 15 of its final 22 games on the road, last match-up in New York with an Interleague series against the Mets at Citi Field, September 26-28.

Game start times will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Here is the full 2014 Astros schedule.
