Houston (CBS Houston) – The Texans should be all hands on deck come Monday, at least when it comes to the offensive line. Left tackle Wade Smith was a full participant in Thursday’s practice and is on track to play in San Diego.

“He’s doing really good he took  the full load of practice today so he’s made one heck of a recovery.” said Gary Kubiak. “I know it’s important for him to be there for his guys upfront and for his team.”

Kubiak tried to limit him on Thursday but Smith, who’s heading into his 11th season, wouldn’t have any part of it.

“The prognosis, you know, had the first game in limbo but once I knew that there was any possibility of me being ready, I had my mind made up that I would be ready.” said Smith.
