Houston (CBS Houston) – According to The Washington Post, the NFL has fined Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III $10,000 for an apparel violation.

RG3, wore a shirt that said, “Operation Patience,” during pregame warm-ups prior to Monday night’s preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at FedEx Field.

The unauthorized apparel was something RG3 said earlier in training camp when talking about the Redskins easing him back toward full-time duties.
