Houston Texans star running back Arian Foster was activated by the team from the PUP list on Wednesday.
Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said he doesn’t think Foster will play Sunday, “The key is that we have a couple good weeks of practice and bring him along as if he just started training camp.”
Foster has been out since OTA’s when he got a calf strain. He later developed some back issues that have kept him out of the first two preseason games.
Foster returned to practice today on a limited basis and coach Kubiak said it was positive and they’re taking it one day at a time.
No confirmation if Foster will be ready for week one.
