Antonio Smith Facing Suspension For Swinging Helmet

Texans defensive end Antonio smith could be facing a suspension for swinging a helmet at an opposing player in Saturday’s preseason game against the Miami Dolphins.  The USA Today is reporting that the Dolphins have contactd the NFL to bring the indecent to light.

Smith, seen in the video going against Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito, was not flagged on the play.   It appears that Smith and Incognito were holding the others face mask when Smith ripped of his oppositions and swung it at him.

This isn’t the first time these two players have been involved in an altercation.  Last season Smith was fined for kicking Incognito while they were both on the ground.  Smith claimed Incognito was twisting his ankle.

It is unclear whether or not the helmet struck Incognito.
