HOUSTON (CBS Houston) The two survivors of a traffic accident that took place within the Texas Panhandle and that killed five members of summer musical production remain hospitalized.
Reports indicate that Timothy Johnson of Houston remained in critical condition Wednesday. Johnson was a passenger in a car carrying six members of the musical “Texas”; the vehicle was in an accident Monday near Dumas. The other five people in the car were killed.
Theron Arthur McSay the driver of the 18-wheeler that was involved in the wreck, also remains hospitalized and at the time of his report was in stable condition. According to officials with the Department of Public Safety, the car pulled in front of the 18-wheeler.
Organizers of the musical canceled this week’s performances that were scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. Shows are scheduled Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
