HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – And so it begins. The Houston Astros have scratched right-hander Bud Norris from his scheduled Tuesday start against the Orioles.
According to sources, the Houston Astros are actively looking to trade Norris by the MLB’s non-waiver trade deadline Wednesday.
Norris, 28-year-old, has pitched a 3.93 ERA this season with a 1.41 WHIP and a 6-9 record. Norris is not eligible for free agency until after the 2015 season, and has been with this ballclub since making his debut in 2009.
Lucas Harrell will take the mound tonight.
