HPD Releases Composite Sketch Of Suspect Wanted In Sexual Assault Cases
HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in at least three sexual assault cases in southeast Houston.
According to officials with HPD, the suspect is described only as a black male in his late 20s. “He is about 6 feet tall, with a medium build and a medium complexion,” stated officials with HPD. “He has a “wide” smile and a fade-style haircut.”
The incidents occurred on the following dates and times:
• May 24 – 2:15 a.m.
• May 31- 11:10 p.m.
• July 3 – 3:50 a.m.
“In each incident, the suspect was driving a white, newer model four-door vehicle with light tint on the windows and a dark interior. He picked up the victims and drove them to a vacant residence where he physically and sexually assaulted them,” added HPD.
During the most recent incident, the female victim was walking in the area of Yellowstone and Martin Luther King Boulevard when the suspect, who was driving a white four-door vehicle at the time, approached her and asked if she wanted a ride.
“The suspect managed to talk the victim into accepting the ride and then drove her to a vacant residence in the 5900 Southtown,” added HPD. “The suspect then forced the victim out of the car and took her to the back of the house where he physically and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then took the victim’s purse.”
Anyone with information in these cases or on the identity of the wanted suspect is being urged to contact the HPD Special Crimes Division at 713-308-1100 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
