HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Texans running back Arian Foster, along with safety Ed Reed and Wide receiver DeVier Posey will begin training camp on the PUP list.

The moves were expected for Reed and Posey, who are recovering from hip surgery and a torn achilles respectively. Not so much for Foster, who strained his calf during OTAs May 28th. But, head coach Gary Kubiak told SportsRadio 610′s John McClain Foster will “be on the field in a couple of days”.

Meanwhile, middle linebacker Daryl Sharpton was placed on the active/non-football injury list. Sharpton is expected to start alongside Brian Cushing in the Texans’ base 3-4.

Some good news, as rookie outside linebacker Sam Montgomery and rookie tackle Brennan Williams were removed from the Active/PUP list and placed on the active roster after passing physical exams. SportsRadio 610′s Will Grubb reported earlier today, that J.J. Watt and other veterans confronted Montgomery about showing up out of shape.

Finally, tight end Garrett Graham was placed on the Active/Non-Football Illness list.
