Texans’ Rookies Ready To Go

WILL GRUBB, CBS Houston

Houston (CBS Houston)- With training camp on the horizon the Texans have agreed to terms with all nine draft picks.

D.J. Swearinger and Brennan Williams agreed to terms on their rookie deals Tuesday to cap off the offseason. Swearinger, a second round pick out of South Carolina, was named second-team All-SEC last year  after recording 79 tackles, two interceptions, and seven pass breakups for the nation’s second-ranked defense.

Williams, a 6-6 tackle out of North Carolina, was placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list after inking his contract. He continues to recover from a knee injury sustained during rookie minicamp.
