HOUSTON (CBS Houston) HCSO deputies were investigating an early morning shooting at an east Harris County game room that left two people wounded on Tuesday.

HCSO officials stated that deputies responded to a game room located at 810 Sheldon Rd. early Tuesday morning after a man and woman who had been denied entry into the location reportedly shot at the security guard.

“The armed security guard returned fire, hitting the female suspect,” added officials.

“The male suspect placed the injured woman in a vehicle and drove her to San Jacinto Methodist Hospital. He was detained by an off-duty police officer working security at the hospital. The woman was subsequently taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Her current condition is unknown. The male suspect was brought back to the scene where he was positively identified.”

HCSO officials that charges are pending against both suspects. “A customer inside the game room was also injured by the gunfire,” stated HCSO officials. “He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
