HOUSTON (CBS Houston) On Friday, Houston Astros rookie outfielder Brandon Barnes hit for the cycle against the Seattle Mariners.

During Friday’s game against Seattle, Barnes hit a solo homer in the second inning, coupled with a run-scoring triple in the fourth on Friday night.Barnes who was called up to the majors for the first time on August 7, 2012, singled in the sixth inning and completed the cycle with a poignant groundball double down the right field line during the eighth inning of Friday night’s game. spacer1 Houston Astros Player Barnes Hits For The Cycle

Friday’s endeavor marked the eighth time a Houston Astros baseball player has hit for the cycle.
