HOUSTON (CBS Houston)- The 21st annual ESPY awards will be handed out and air live at 8 p.m. Wednesday on ESPN.

“Mad Men” star Jon Hamm is going from a presenter to host of the ESPY Awards. Hamm is hosting the ESPYs just as he wraps filming on the Disney movie “The Million Dollar Arm,” in which he plays a sports agent.

Several local athletes are being represented at the 21st annual ESPY Awards:

Texans Defensive End JJ Watt: Best NFL Player
Heisman Trophy Winner and Texas A&M Quarterback Johnny Manziel: Best Male College Athlete and Best Breakthrough Athlete
Baylor and Phoenix Mercury Women’s Basketball Player Brittney Griner: Best Female Athlete and Best Female College Athlete

Among the scheduled presenters are LeBron James, Ben Affleck, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Selena Gomez, Danica Patrick, Maria Sharapova, Jason Sudeikis, and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen.
