“Our goal in providing homes to our wounded heroes is to provide them with a home fully adapted to their special needs. This enables them to transition successfully into our community and to provide the tools they need to succeed in life. Some of the adaptations for our wheelchair bound recipients include wider doors, lowered counter tops, roll under sink, roll in shower, tile/wood floors throughout the home, etc…

Named one of the top three new private golf courses in the U.S. in 1987, the first year it was eligible, Valhalla Golf Club remains the No. 1-ranked course
in Kentucky and one of “America’s 100 Greatest Courses”, according to Golf Digest (2005). The club has a storied history of hosting successful major PGA of America championships. Valhalla hosted its first PGA Championship in 1996 with an encore in 2000. The Senior PGA Championship
was also conducted on this Kentucky gem in 2004 and 2011. The entire golf world was focused on Valhalla in 2008, with the staging of the sport’s most historic event, the 37th Ryder Cup.
