Report: HFD Inspector Fatally Shot In Northwest Houston

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Authorities are investigating in incident involving the fatal shooting of an HFD fire inspector.

According to report, a Houston Fire Department inspector was found shot to death in northwest Houston. Houston police stated that homicide detectives responded to a shooting located in the 500 block of West Troy and Stuebner Airline Road around 10 a.m. Monday.

The victim’s daughter told them that the victim was pulling up to his house in his personal vehicle when his teenage daughter got out of the vehicle and walked toward the garage. It was then that she reportedly heard gunshots.

Although the victim’s identity had not been released at the time of this report, officials did state that Alain M. Bell is now charged with murder. Police say 55-year-old Bell, is a wanted suspect and is believed to be the man who murdered the HFD inspector.
