HOUSTON (CBS Houston) CBS Sports is reporting that Dwight Howard will sign with the Houston Rockets.

“After meeting with the Warriors, Lakers, Rockets, Mavericks and Hawks, Howard retreated to Colorado on Tuesday to weigh his choices and make a decision,” reports the website.

Additional reports indicate that Howard made his decision to join the Houston Rockets late Friday evening.

Howard took to his Twitter page to announce his move to Houston as a member of the Houston Rockets:

He will also join the current Rockets players James Harden, Jeremy Lin and Chandler Parsons.

“Howard, 28, spent last season with the Lakers but as an unrestricted free agent, elected not to re-sign,” adds CBS Sports.

CBS Houston will have additional details on this story as they become available.
