HOUSTON (CBS Houston) According to CBS Boston, merchandise featuring the name and brand of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been pulled from store shelves at Patriot Place in Boston.

“The star-player’s name was also removed from the team roster on the New England Patriots’ website,” adds CBS Boston.

Hernandez was arrested Wednesday and formally charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd, 27, a semi-professional athlete. Lloyd’s body was found in a field less than a half-mile away from Hernandez’s home on Monday, June 17.
