Drake Denied Access Into Heat Locker Room [VIDEO]
HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Hip hop superstar Drake was denied access into the Miami Heat locker room after the team clinched a win as world champions of NBA basketball Thursday evening.
Reports indicate that although the rapper is “close friends” with Miami Heat superstar and player LeBron James, the platinum-selling recording artist was told he could not come into the locker room to celebrate with his pal James and other team members of the Heat:
NBA reporter Alex Kennedy even made reference to the snub:
Drake was just stopped by security. He tried getting in the locker room without media pass. “I am media,” he said with a laugh.

So after the Heat finished off a 95-88 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals to lock down their second straight NBA championship, Drake was told no he could not party with his pals.
There was no word yet, at the time of this report if Drake was composing a song about being denied access into the locker room. I guess he needs “new friends”?
