Suspects Dressed In Hazmat Suits Rob Jewelry Store

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) According to reports, thieves dressed in suits and masks used to handle hazardous materials robbed, a jewelry store in The Woodlands.

Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office stated that they are searching for five suspects who robbed the Jared the Galleria of Jewelry store in The Woodlands Monday evening. Investigators believe at least one of the suspects had a gun. There were no injuries reported during the robbery.

Additional resorts indicate that the suspects drove to the jewelry store in a car, entered the store using the front entrance and then broke several glass display cases; they away, stealing an undetermined amount of jewelry.

The suspects then ran out the back door and fled in a white SUV parked at a nearby gas station.

There were no other details released at the time of this report; authorities continue to investigate the robbery.
