ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — One North Texas police officer charged in an FBI probe of alleged computer fraud has been arrested while another implicated officer committed suicide.

Arlington police on Tuesday night announced the arrest of Officer Thomas Kantzos and the death of Officer David Vo.

The FBI declined comment. Texas Rangers also are investigating.

Police spokeswoman Tiara Ellis Richard says Vo was put on administrative leave after being arrested last weekend and released pending charges. She didn’t elaborate. Richard says Vo took his own life Tuesday afternoon in a wooded area. A gun was recovered.

Kantzos was being held Wednesday in protective custody on fraud charges. Online jail records don’t list an attorney for Kantzos, who’s also on administrative leave. A third Arlington police officer who was questioned was also placed on leave.
