UPDATE: HCSO Able To Identify Female

CICELY MITCHELL, CBS Houston

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons/Runaway Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman found at the Fiesta supermarket located at 12201 East Freeway (I -10 East), Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, the woman stated that her name is Rebecca, and her mother’s name could be Margaret.

Officials further stated that the woman pictured in this post who was found in the parking lot of the Fiesta grocery store, is between 18 and 25 years old and stands approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall. It is believed that the woman also weighs 135 pounds. She was also wearing a gray “hoodie” or hooded outerwear as well as a red, blue, and white dress with brown shoes.

Anyone who recognizes the woman is being urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office at 713-221-6000.

***UPDATE*** 2:11 p.m., CST

Harris County Sheriffs’ Office officials were able to identify the woman whose identity was unknown to officials.

“The woman in the photo has been identified as Chandra Momodu,” stated officials with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. “She was reported missing on Sunday, June 9 from a group home in east Harris County”

No other information was released.
