HOUSTON (CBS Houston) A 44-year-old woman faces a murder charge after allegedly fatally stabbing a man with a stiletto heel early Sunday morning.

The crime took place at a high-rise condominium located in Houston’s Museum District.

Homicide investigators with the Houston Police Department stated that officers responded to a call of an assault in progress just before 4 a.m. at a unit within The Parkline luxury condominium homes located in the 1700 block of Hermann Drive.

Upon arrival, a woman answered the door and showed police the body of a 59-year-old man, which was found in a hallway between the entryway and the kitchen.

Police said that the woman was detained for questioning and was the only person present when police arrived at the scene. Now that woman faces a murder charge in the killing of the 59-year-old man. HPD did not release the name of the victim pending the notification of next of kin, at the time of this report.
