Woman Accused Of Setting Ex- Husband’s Home On Fire

HOUSTON (CBS Houston) A woman was taken into custody early Thursday morning, accused of setting her ex-husband’s northeast Houston home on fire.

Reports indicate that the suspect is accused of starting the fire on a home that is located on Sunderland and Livings. The woman was arrested around 3 a.m.

The woman who reportedly suffers from mental deficiencies, set her former husband’s trailer home on fire as he described seeing a bright flash in the sky.

The former husband of the woman has lived at the home for over three decades and wanted the home in tact for his children. He also reportedly moved out of the home but allowed his ex-wife to still reside there; nevertheless he believes that she is responsible for the fire to the home.

Authorities continue investigate the case.
