HOUSTON (CBS Houston) - If you blinked, you missed your chance to buy J.J. Watt’s new Nike training shoe. The MegaWatt Nike Free Trainer 5.0 sold out in less than two minutes after going on sale Saturday morning at 7 a.m.

The MegaWatt is one of a series of shoes that Nike launched to commemorate different Nike athletes.  Watt tweeted out a picture of the limited edition training shoe, priced at $95.00, before the sale.

Watt and Nike collectively designed the MegaWatt, an all-white shoe with a red “MegaWatt” signature on the back.  The NFL’s 2012 Defensive Player of the Year could pursue a future in sports apparel if the football thing doesn’t work out for him.

“It was pretty neat. They came to me with a couple different shoe styles that I could pick from and then from there we went with the color scheme. I told them what I wanted.  Basically, I just told them to keep it clean.  I wanted something just clean and crisp.  I didn’t want a lot of color.  I’m more of a conservative guy,” Watt told SportsRadio 610′s J & R show last Tuesday.

“The cool thing about it is, and I didn’t even realize it when I first got the shoe, within the white (obviously you see the weaving and everything) but there’s actually white lightening bolts all mixed throughout the shoe and obviously it goes with the MegaWatt theme and that’s pretty cool.”
