HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – Roy Hibbert, center for the Indiana Pacers, called out former-Rocket-turned-Heat forward Shane Battier on Twitter after Wednesday’s 102-103 loss to Miami. Hibbert felt Battier’s knee to his groin region, during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, was a cheap shot. Battier planted his knee into Hibbert during a first-quarter drive to the basket. Hibbert was rewarded with an offensive foul call on Battier but retaliated after the game when he read that Battier’s knee was accidental.
U can knee or kick me every time u drive 2the rim. Ill be there 2protect the rim. That wasn’t inadvertent. Battier knew what he was doing
