HOUSTON (CBS Houston) Officials raided auto salvage yard in northwest Harris County this week and arrested seven individuals.

“Each defendant is charged with placing serial numbers with the intent to mask the true identities of vehicles, added officials with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The CWM Body Shop located at 11856 Zuinn Street was the site of the raid this week. HCSO authorities raided the located in conjunction with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, National Insurance Crime Bureau, Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and the Harris County Pollution Control Services. “Authorities removed 29 vehicles that may have been stolen and the investigation continues,” added officials.

Bail was set at $55,000 each for: the following individuals:Walter Martinez, Cristian Perez, Yordanis Cruz, Lopez-Mendez, Miguel Saavedra, Alex Martinez and Carlos
Ventura.
