The San Antonio Spurs beat the Golden State Warriors 94-82 in Game 6 on Thursday night and advanced to the Western Conference finals.

Tim Duncan had 19 points and six rebounds while Kawhi Leonard scored 16 points.

Also helping with San Antoni’s victor, Tiago Splitter added a career-playoff high 14 points for the Spurs, which helped the team lead by 13 points late in the third quarter.

Stephen Curry scored 22 points for Golden State, while nursing a sprained left ankle. Also nursing injury during the game, forward Harrison Barnes suffered a head injury in the second quarter but returned in the third. A headache plagued him during the fourth and as a result he was sidelined.

San Antonio who has placed as a second seed in the finals, will open the conference finals at home against Memphis on Sunday.
